Can AI actually read your website?
Enter your address and we'll fetch your site the way an AI crawler does, then score how readable and citable it is out of 100. Free, no signup, no card — a reading in seconds.
What the free scan checks
AI assistants have to be able to fetch, parse and understand a page before they can ever cite it. The scan measures that readable half directly:
- Crawler access — whether AI user-agents are allowed, or quietly refused before they see anything.
- Content without JavaScript — whether your main content exists in the HTML, or only appears after rendering.
- Structured data — whether machines can identify what your organisation is and what it sells.
- Answerable content — whether your pages actually answer the questions buyers ask.
- Entity clarity — whether your name, description and details are consistent enough to resolve to one business.
What it cannot tell you
It reads your site. It does not ask a single AI assistant about you — and those are genuinely different questions. A site can be immaculately readable and still never be recommended, because most brand mentions come from what a model already learned rather than from a page it fetched.
Finding out whether assistants actually name you means asking them, repeatedly, across providers, with the questions your buyers use — and counting. That is the other half of an AVI Score, and it is what the index publishes. Our methodology sets out exactly how.
